Project 4 Evaluation

I feel like this project has been the most successful one so far. Normally I feel like I don’t have the patience to fully have a good photo session, but this time I made sure to set aside time for me to play around and try different things. I think it was really beneficial for me because I got to play around with my camera settings more than I have in the past. I now feel much more comfortable being able to execute the vision that I have. I also really enjoyed working with something that I could tinker with and change positions of.

I was able to explore different angles of light with this project. Using the specific color harmonies was also a great way for me to understand what can make a photo more interesting. I really like the complimentary because it pops a lot more. Also converting the images to black and white and messing around with the color was really interesting. I enjoyed changing certain colors to make a blah black and white image interesting to look at.

I think I have made nice progress when it comes to how I interact with light. I know now that there is so much more to light that just illuminating something. I can now keep in mind that light controls color and so many other things, and I am able to use that to create better photos.
